In the Universal Declaration of Water

In the Universal Declaration of Water Rights, created by the UN, among the main approaches are:

- That we must be responsible with saving water, because this is an essential condition of life;
- That it is a world heritage, and we are all responsible for their care;
- That the drinking water should be used with economy, because treatment resources are still scarce and slow;
- That the balance of the planet depends on the conservation of rivers, seas and oceans, as well as the natural cycles of water;
- What should be responsible to future generations;
- What we need to use it knowing that we should not pollute it or poison it;
- That man should be supportive, avoiding its waste and fighting for its balance in nature.

With this document, the United Nations has made it mandatory that all people are responsible for water quality, as well as its maintenance, and thus ways to ensure the improvement of life on the planet.
